The Land Promise Was Fulfilled In The OT.
-
Joshua 21:43-45 - (43) Thus the LORD
gave to Israel all the land that he swore to give to their
fathers. And they took possession of it, and they settled there.
(44) And the LORD gave them rest on every side just as he
had sworn to their fathers. Not one of all their enemies had
withstood them, for the LORD had given all their enemies into
their hands. (45) Not one word of all the good
promises that the LORD had made to the house of Israel had failed;
all came to pass.
-
1 kings 8:56 - "Blessed be the LORD who
has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he
promised. Not one word has failed of all his good promise,
which he spoke by Moses his servant.
-
Nem 9:7-8 - (7) You are the LORD, the
God who chose Abram and brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans and
gave him the name Abraham. (8) You found his heart faithful
before you, and made with him the covenant to give to his
offspring the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the
Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite. And you have
kept your promise, for you are righteous.

If Israel is the
"apple of God's eye," as so many dispensationalist futurist claim they
are, should not they encourage the Jews to flee Israel instead of
returning because they claim in their prophecy that 2/3s must die and
if they support that than they would be practicing pre-meditated
murder of the Jews instead of helping to support the Jews.

The Truth About Christmas
- The Roman Catholic Church brought this pagan celebration over from
Babylon and tacked the name Christ to it, in order to overawe the
heathen and gain converts. FOR it wasn't until the third and fourth
centuries after the birth of Christ, that any professing Christians
observed "Christmas."
If this message shocks you, I highly
advised that you read some of
David Curtis' sermons which also speaks
of Christmas as a pagan holiday.
-
The Birth of Christ - The date came from a pagan holiday of
Saturnalia. This was a Roman observance of the birthday of the
"Invincible Sun" on December 25. The celebration consisted of feasts,
parades, gift giving, lighted candles, and green trees. Many of our
Christmas customs have their origins in Saturnalia. This pagan holiday
was Christianized in 336 A.D. by the Emperor Constantine. He declared
Christ's birthday an official Roman holiday. Chrysostom, the early
church father, rebuked Christians for adopting this pagan holiday, but
it stuck.
-
Christ and Christmas - What about the name, Christmas? The
word "Christmas" means "Mass of Christ," or, as it came to be
shortened, "Christ-mass"; a Roman Catholic Mass which grew out of a
specific feast day established in 1038A.D. It has nothing to do with
Scripture or the birth of Christ! The Encyclopedia Britannica, 1946
ed. says this, "Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the
church. It was not instituted by Christ or the Apostles, or by Bible
authority. It was picked up after-ward from paganism."

Bethel Missionary Baptist
- The name Bethel comes from the Hebrew beth,
meaning house, and el, meaning God.
Bethel means "The House of God." Bethel Missionary Baptist
Church is a church out here in the Philippines seeking to educate
students in the truth of Scripture. Soon, Bethel Missionary Baptist
will have their own website built, being sponsored by World Without
End, so that their mission statement can be seen along with their
ten year mission plan along with a visualization of the blue prints,
when they are complete, to see what their place will be like. When
the site is up, I encourage you, the viewers, to read their mission
statement and see what their long term mission goal is.

Eze
47:12 And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will
grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor
their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month,
because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit
will be for food, and their leaves for healing."

Rev
22:2 through the middle of the street of the city; also, on
either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of
fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were
for the healing of the nations.

Benjamin Breckinridge (B.B.) Warfield
(November 5, 1851 – February 16, 1921) was the principal of
Princeton Seminary from 1887 to 1921. Some conservative
Presbyterians consider him to be the last great Princeton theologian
before the split in 1929 that formed Westminster Seminary and the
Orthodox Presbyterian Church.

Eschatology
101
The world is flat!
The sun revolves around the earth!
The earth is the center of the universe!
Isn't it hard to believe that Christians got these
issues wrong?
Should we be surprised that we still get things
wrong?
How about the notion that Jesus didn't come when He
said he would?
If you have the courage to trade tradition for
truth...

How
does second-hand smoke affect health?
Non-smokers who breathe second-hand
smoke suffer many of the same diseases as regular smokers. Heart
disease deaths as well as lung and nasal sinus cancers have been
causally associated with second-hand smoke exposure. Second-hand smoke
also causes a wide variety of adverse health effects in children
including bronchitis and pneumonia, development and exacerbation of
asthma, and middle ear infections ("glue ear"), which is the most
common cause of deafness in children. Exposure of non-smoking women to
second-hand smoke during pregnancy reduces fetal growth, and postnatal
exposure of infants to second-hand sm oke
greatly increases the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
Tobacco smoke also causes immediate effects such as
eye and nasal irritation, headache, sore throat, dizziness, nausea,
cough, and respiratory problems.

"Tourists can now extend stay up to two years" By
William Depasupil, Reporter --- A friend informed me about this
just today and i still have to read it but before i read it myself
I think i should at least say to you the reader that realize that
even though you can now stay longer than one year the catch to it
might be that now we will have to pay tax to leave for it is said
if you stay over a year, like most of the filipinos who live here,
you have to pay a tax through the airlines to leave while those of
us who stay under a year are not obligated.
