Fourteen Steps to Emotional Well-Being

  1. Acknowledge that you have more feelings than you allow to surface.
  2. Re-define the macho outlook.
  3. Trace back where your attitude about emotional issues comes from.
  4. Accept that it's okay to vulnerable.
  5. Stop living in the past.
  6. Don't punish new women for old hurts.
  7. Learn from what hurt you in the past.
  8. Set new boundaries.
  9. Find your own comfort level.
  10. Be clear about what you need.
  11. Give us at least an idea of what's going on when you have something on your mind that's affecting you.
  12. Explain so we understand.
  13. Remember that all women are jerks until proven otherwise too!
  14. Learn to forgive.
