TESTIMONY OF MY CONVERSION
AND CALLING TO THE MINISTRY

My
name is Teodoro C. Badilles, 64 years of age, married and have
five (5) grown children 3 are already married and I have
4 grandchildren. I was born in Moalboal, Cebu, Philippines on
December 27, 1942. My parents immigrated to Mindanao when I was
still a small boy. I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters and the
youngest in the family.
My
family was a devoted Roman Catholics. We faithfully attended
Roman Catholic masses. But I did not experience the saving
knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. I had been attending
Protestants and Baptists churches for 6 years but was not saved
until the year 1958 that I got saved when I attended a worship
Sunday morning service that the Holy Spirit convicted of my sin
and turn to Christ for salvation through the preaching of my
uncle Dionesio de la Cerna an elder brother of my mother who was
a lay preacher of a small fundamental Baptist church in Santo
Tomas, Davao del Norte, Philippines and had been baptized on
November 9, 1959.
I was
called by the Lord to preach the gospel in 1960 and had gone to
Baptist Workers Training School (BWTS) in Malaybalay, Bukdnon,
Philippines. I obtained the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws
degrees at the International Harvardian University in Davao City
while my Bachelor of Theology, Master of Theology, and Doctor of
Theology at the Texas Baptist Institute & Seminary and was
ordained to the gospel ministry by the Angeles City Missionary
Baptist Church, Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines.
I was
a former college instructor at the International Harvardian
University in Davao City as well as in Davao Missionary Baptist
Institute & Seminary. In my 46 years in the gospel ministry as
pastor and as missionary evangelist since 1961, I have seen
thousands of souls saved and have been baptized and added to the
churches and hundreds of Baptist churches were organized under
my ministry in Central and Southern Philippines.
In my
60th birth date, I prayed to the Lord to give me long life and
good health and add 60 more years of my earthly and physical
life, so that more souls will hear me preach the gospel and the
whole counsel of God, got converted, baptized, and added to His
churches. So help me God. Amen.
