Dear
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I will make
Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines as the
center for the evangelizing and planting of New Testament
Baptist churches in the whole Philippine Islands by
the T.C. Badilles Church Planting Mission Team of the
Philippine Mission of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church,
Incorporated through the auspices of Bethel Missionary Baptist
Church in
Davao City, Philippines.
And
together with the prayers and financial helps from individuals
and sister churches in America that will get involve in church
planting and helps the sending and sponsoring church if led of
the Lord for them to do so in this great endeavor of doing
mission work in planting New Testament Baptist churches in the
Philippines..
As a Missionary Evangelist, I am directly responsible to God
and to the sending and sponsoring church and to the people
that surround us here in my daily conduct not to put to shame
the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the sake of the gospel
and the conversion of the lost souls to the Lord. And
we are looking forward
to organize a one self-supporting, self-governing, and
self-propagating New Testament Baptist Church every year.
Every
baptism that I will perform must be under the authority of a
sending and sponsoring church. The results of our monthly
evangelistic crusades from place to place will be reported
to a sending and sponsoring church so that the believers whom
I baptized will be added to the church roll of the sending and
sponsoring church after they have been baptized (Acts
2:38-41).
And
because they cannot attend in every church service of the
sending and sponsoring church because of the distance and
expenses involve in going here in
Davao City, Philippines to worship with the sending and
sponsoring church, so, we will form the baptized
believers into mission in every place in order to conduct a
separate worship and services of their own before they become
organize into a church.
Then at the time that a mission is ready to be organized into
a church in order to become a separate church entity from its
mother church, this means that a daughter church is ready to
get married to her Lord Jesus Christ, but they can look back
to a sending and sponsoring church as its mother church
(Ephesians 5:21=33).
Baptized believers in every place in the
Philippines and in foreign countries who are not yet
organize into a church is called "mission" because its
membership are still in the mother church who send out
missionaries. After they become a separate church entity
from its mother church they can trace its lineage back to the
sending church as the mother church those who were
baptized in home mission field as well as the foreign mission
field.
It is the duty of a church to produce a church (Ephesians
5:21-33). The analogy is that a church is married to
Christ. If the church is married to Christ, naturally she will
produce an offspring of the same kind and if she is already
old enough to get married, she will marry with the consent
approval of its mother church.
The Philippine Mission of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church,
Incorporated is not a church in
the proper sense of the word. It is only a
vehicle to our church planting ministry with the government in
order to be recognized and protected by the government and to
receive any donation from individuals, churches and business
firms in order to be tax free from the government. And
every donation is tax deductible by the government of the
Republic of the Philippines.
And
above all, in order that I can get a Marriage License from the
government to solemnize marriage all over the
Philippines I have to connect and identify myself with
a religious organization registered with the Securities and
Exchange Commission (SEC). That was why we incorporated and
registered with the S.E.C. the Philippine Mission of Bethel
Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. on March 15, 1984 as a
vehicle to our church planting ministry and to solemnize
marriages. But our sending church is Bethel
Missionary Baptist Church of
Davao City, Philippines where we hold
our church membership.
We are
looking forward to hearing from you soon.
