About Us

1. We teach for doctrines those brought to this Filipino nation by the many people fleeing the Old World to escape religious persecution. These doctrines were then commonly known as "the doctrines of grace", being taught almost unanimously by professing Christians and Baptists. They were so designated because they so clearly set forth both the necessity, and the surety, salvation, by grace alone without human work. While it is true they fell into much dis-favor during the "1900s", yet it is also true that God has revived them in recent years; and we believe that through them He is purifying His true Baptist Christian people in preparation for the soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in glory.

2. "But I would not have you to be ignorant brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore, comfort one another with these words" (1Thessalonians 4:13-18).

3. The doctrines are generally set forth in the New Testament in 30 A.D. and in the 1644 London, England Baptist Confession of Faith and in the New Hampshire, U.S.A. Baptist Confession of Faith.

Our Purpose

1. Our purpose is simple: Glorify God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Though we have not reached the ultimate of this goal; (nor will we until the resurrection), yet, by repentance and faith we glorify Him in the spirit of holiness.

2. We propose to "cleave unto the Lord with purpose of heart" (Acts 11:23), while we "press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14). We purpose to worship our Lord daily in the "beauty of holiness" (Psalms 96:9), and in our church services to worship Him in song; prayer; and preaching.

What We Offer

1. We offer to hungry souls the Bread of Life, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! As the Apostle Peter said, "silver and gold have we none; but such as I have give I thee" (Acts 3:16).

2. We offer no earthly treasure but the treasure of Heaven-the faith of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ--which being tried with fire, perish not. 1 Peter 1:7. If this you seek, we can promise do not dis-appoint you!

3. We cannot offer instant gratification: but to all who patiently endure. Romans 2:7, we can show the way of peace, contentment, and the joy of salvation.

4. We cannot offer an easy way "Because straight is the gate and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there are who find it" (Matthew 7:13,14).

5. We can offer a "plain path" (Psalms 27:1; Proverbs 8:8-11; Isaiah 40:3-5) and help on your way. 1 Thessalonians 5:14; Galatians 6:1,2.

Our Invitation

1. As Moses said to Hobab, (Numbers10:29), so say we: "We are journeying unto the place of which the Lord Jesus Christ said, "I will give it to you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good". In His loving kindness our Lord feeds us with the manna of His word, leading us through the wilderness of this world; giving us a taste of the Promised Land through the milk and honey of His mercy and Grace.

2. "Therefore it shall be, if thou go with us--that what goodness the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee." Numbers 10:32.

3. Our invitation is as simple as that of Philip to Nathanael (John 1:45,46), and that of the Samaritan woman to her city (John 4:27-30): COME SEE!
