Mission a Reality

As most of you might know, I am John Paul, better known as Audio Web Man, who has been putting these sermons online for the past few years now. It was my desire that these sermons would be put online for others to listen to so that their lives could be blessed just as much as these lessons have even blessed mine.

It was a long journey for me as I was making my steps into a more true Biblical understanding of our Lord's word that I was so grateful to find Berean Bible Church online which not only has helped me grow but has also lead me to see scripture for what is truly says. Just like Martin Luther has said:

"Unless I am convinced by Scripture and plain reason - I do not accept the authority of the popes and councils, for they have contradicted each other - my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and I will not recant anything for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. God help me. Amen."

Martin Luther's point, by the quote you have read, is that we let scripture interpret scripture, "sola scriptura" which means "The Bible Alone".

So many of us out there are starving for truth but yet our minds are so blinded with the futurist view of eschatology as if that is all that is out there since that is what most of us have been taught. But, only very few of us make that choice to study even deeper and to go out and hear from others by asking questions. If it was not for a futurist friend, I never would of been where I am today. It was when I saw Kenneth Gentry's book "The Beast of Revelation" sitting upon his book shelf that I than was able to know for the very first time that yes there is more than one view when it comes to eschatology. And, as I have studied the many other views, God has given me more of a desire to live instead of giving up and that is my desire which is to help others choose to live life to the fullest, share the good news...the gospel...and to help make this world a better place for our grandchildren before the Lord has us lay down this body to soon be with Him forever in the heavens with God forever.

"I will be living in the Philippines for a period of two to four years and during that time I will be providing for my own costs while I'm there, so you may be wondering "why do you need our donations?" The answer is that I will be helping pastor Guinit with some of his mission work and also with these donations, I hope to help those in need, to make college possible for some of the younger generation while even having a chance to share the gospel.

Even if you are only able to donate very little just know, within you heart, that whatever the Lord puts on your heart to give will be put to great use. not only will these donation help me afford the airline ticket to get there but your gifts will help the needy families, the churches and even pastor Guinit and I on traveling from town to town to let other hear the good news that our "God is gracious" and has a reason and a purpose for why we are here today...to live and bring honor to our God.

Lets begin helping others regain that desire to live a long life, even if for any reason that your eschatology might be different from ours, eschatology is not what really matters, what matters most is that we put the people's focus back to where it belongs which is on God because when our focus is on God all other thing in life will take care of themselves.

Do Not Worry
Matthew 6:25-34

²⁵"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? ²⁶Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? ²⁷Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

²⁸"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. ²⁹Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. ³⁰If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? ³¹So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' ³²For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. ³³But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. ³⁴Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Proverbs 13:12
Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

Help me, through your donations, so that I can go help those, who are living in deferred hope, understand the truth that salvation is possible right now. Christ is our high priest who sits at the Father's side speaking on our behalf which was only made possible by Jesus' death, burial and resurrection.

Lets bring the meaning of life back into our world
not just for us but also for our grandchildren.
